Calling all history buffs and nature lovers! This captivating 3-day adventure with Port Bus whisks you away to the heart of New South Wales. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage of Camden Valley, explore the majestic Hunter Valley Botanic Gardens, and indulge in a delightful High Tea experience. Discover the historical significance of Camden Park House and Belgenny Farm, followed by a relaxing lunch cruise on picturesque Lake Macquarie. This escape is the perfect blend of cultural exploration, natural beauty, and pure relaxation just before Mother’s Day, go on spoil yourself or your Mum!

Day 1: Wednesday 7th May

Departing Port Bus by 08:00 we commence our pickups from Port Coach Terminal. Lake Cathie & Ikew Information Centre. Through to Bulladelah for morning tea. Further South in Heatherbrae we visit the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens. The Hunter Region Botanic Gardens cover an area of more than 130 hectares, much of which has been preserved as natural bushland. The Gardens are managed, maintained, and developed by a non-profit company of volunteers. After our guided tour we enjoy lunch onsite in the Café. Another comfort stops en route before we arrive and check in for the next couple of nights at the Camden Valley Inn.

Camden Valley Inn | 2 nights

Day 2: Thursday 8th May

Before breakfast take a moment to breathe in the fresh country air at Camden Park House, Menangle. We enjoy a Private Guided Tour. Camden Park House is one of Australia's most important Georgian Houses. Designed by Architect John Verge and completed in 1835. Now for the cherry on top of this tour, we journey back to Camden Valley Inn for High Tea! It’s now time for another History lesson at Belgenny Farm, Camden South. Our tour guide will take you on an all-access tour. Belgenny Farm was established by John and Elizabeth Macarthur in 1805 and contains the earliest collection of colonial farm buildings in Australia. It was part of the original 2,000-hectare (5,000-acre) Camden property granted to John Macarthur in 1805 and was the home farm for John and Elizabeth Macarthur and their children.

Day 3: Friday 9th May

After breakfast (if you’re hungry after yesterday’s feast) we commence our journey home but by no means is our holiday over yet! Another jam-packed day of adventure with our first

port of call being Horseshoe Valley Farm & Apiary, Dooralong. Opportunity to purchase local produce, Cash only. From here we head to Booragul. Boarding Lake Macquarie Cruises for our lunch on the Lake Cruise. Time to relax and take in the scenery, you deserve it! Well, it is Mother’s Day Week! Feeling full and relaxed we board the coach for our final stint North.

All good things must come to an end BUT wait you will have another day off on Sunday 😊 Drop is due to commence around 19:00.

Port Bus will not be held responsible for weather-based cancellations, or those closures made at the venue’s discretion.

Cancellation fees will be levied relative to the amount of notice given:

42 days or more—loss of deposit

29-41 days:  50% of fare plus deposit

30 days before and the Day of departure: 100% of the fare.

In the case of concert or sporting tours, where admission tickets are purchased in advance, a minimum cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of admission ticket fees will apply.

Some accommodations require prepayment and refunds will be subject to their own conditions.
