Mount Alexander Community Walk Against Violence - 16 Days of Activism

16 Days of Activism runs every year from 25 November to 10 December, raising awareness and encouraging communities to take action to end gender-based violence.

Join us to amplify the message that violence has no place in our community – and that together, we can create change.

Meet at the steps in front of the Visitor Information Centre in Castlemaine, walk around the street and finish in Victory Park for a community gathering. Listen to music by Miss Tuesday, a local youth female band, food and drink stalls including free ice cream from Ice Cream Social, face painting, resources and orange merchandise available. People of all genders welcome – bring your friends, family and workmates. Wear orange and bring a banner or sign.
