Mount Barker Community Nursery Volunteer Induction

Welcome to the team!

This session is especially for new volunteers to the Mount Barker Community Nursery. Join Sam, our Nursery Manager, for a friendly induction session to get you started.

You’ll learn a little more about Second Nature Conservancy and the work we do, get familiar with the nursery’s policies and procedures, and find out what’s involved in helping our nursery grow. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other new volunteers, ask questions and start making connections with people who share your interest in local plants and nature.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to the nursery, helping you get settled in and introducing you to the team.

What to bring/wear:

• A hat and water bottle

• Long sleeves and long pants

• Closed-in shoes or boots

Morning tea will be provided, so come along, meet the team and get ready to grow!
