Mountaingrass 2024

Mountaingrass is brought to you by the Australian Bluegrass and Old Time Music Association of Australia (ABOTMA) and is held annually in November. In 2024 it will run from November 15-17 at the Bright Community Hall, 1 Railway Avenue, Bright, Victoria. 

Mountaingrass is a specialist event focusing on two forms of Americana music: Bluegrass and Appalachian Old-Time music.  Aside from concerts and workshops, Mountaingrass features both bluegrass and old time music slow jam sessions, a fully acoustic concert, a blackboard gospel concert on Sunday morning, an instrument makers display (and sales), and lots of opportunities for all attendees to share with each other through jamming and picking sessions. 

ABOTMA is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of bluegrass and American old-time music in Australia. The festival is organised by volunteers for members of ABOTMA and all bluegrass and old time music lovers. 

Only current financial members of ABOTMA can obtain a member discount on their ticket, with only one ticket per membership.
