Entry instructions

All venues have dedicated disability access ramps or street level access specifically labelled areas for disability parking accessible toilet facilities.

After entry instructions

We do not have specific seating areas for people with mobility issues - please identify yourself and your specific needs to our registration desk people at the Bright Community Centre. At our other venues, please approach one of our volunteers who will endeavour to assist you. Please bear in mind that our volunteers have multiple roles to fill so there may be some delay in attending to your needs.

Hazards

We endeavour to actively reduce hazards with appropriate mitigation strategies. You may encounter some outdoor areas that are not paved.

Toilet location

Bright Community Centre - there is an accessible toilet accessed via the doors to the right of the stage. Bright Senior Citizens Centre has directional signage for the disability accessible toilet facilities. The Bright Courthouse has a dedicated disability accessible toilet past the kitchen off the foyer area. The public toilets off Burke Street have dedicated accessible toilets.

Accessible parking

Bright Community Centre - there is dedicated parking in the Burke Street carpark, beside the pathway that leads to the access ramp into the hall. Bright Senior Citizens Centre has a driveway off Cobden Street for dropping off anyone with mobility issues. You may encounter an issue with the coffee van there. The car park right beside the centre has equally convenient disability parking spaces with level access to the centre. The Bright Courthouse has a gravel drive which those with mobility issues can drive down and park under the trees near the dirt roundabout. There is a disability access ramp off that driveway.
