Mountainkind + Solomon Steele Backyard Gig

Mountainkind are a dynamic 8 piece band from Darug Country, Blue Mountains. They perform indie folk rock music and the lyrics are influenced by ancient scriptures. The band includes 4 songwriters and lead singers and many multi- instrumentalists including well known session players from NSW. Mountainkind's music takes you on a journey from subtle heartfelt lyrics to screaming grungey rock-outs often within the one song. The band has a diverse sonic palette with effects, synth and acoustic instruments combined. They released their debut album 'Servant songs' in late 2024 and have just released an Easter EP 'The Die and the Rise'. 

Support set by singer/songwriter guitarist Solomon Steele. Solomon Steele writes lush indie folk that explores home, self-discovery, and change. Following the success of his band Lilas, he is now releasing music under his own name, featuring warm fingerstyle guitar, intimate vocals, and poetic lyricism.
