Description

Move. Flow. Restore.

(Slow Flow to Yin)

October 1st 6.30 - 7.45pm

Move. Flow. Restore. is a small, welcoming community yoga series that moves from slow, flowing movement into longer stretches, yin and deep relaxation.

This 75-minute class gives you space to move, breathe and slow down, without needing to be flexible, experienced or “good” at yoga.

We’ll begin with gentle flowing movement to warm the body, gradually slow things down with mobility and mindful movement, and finish with longer-held stretches, yin-inspired poses and plenty of rest.

New to yoga? You’re very welcome.
This is a relaxed, supportive class where you can work at your own pace. There’s no expectation to know the poses or have any previous yoga experience.

This class is for you if you:

  • Are completely new to yoga or returning after a break.

  • Enjoy slow, mindful movement and longer stretches.

  • Want to build some strength and mobility without an intense class.

  • Are looking for a calm, welcoming space to move and unwind.

  • Enjoy the combination of slow flow, yin and relaxation.

What to wear/bring:

  • Comfortable clothing that you can move in (no activewear required).

  • A yoga mat, if you have one.

  • Anything that helps you to feel extra comfortable, such as a blanket or warm socks for a cosy Savasana.

Accessibility & venue information:

  • Yoga mats are not provided, so please bring your own. If you don't have one, let me know and I will bring one for you :)

  • The studio is located on ground level and the bathrooms are gender neutral.

  • Pricing is tiered, with limited concession tickets available. First Nations Mob are welcome to attend free of charge.

If you have any questions before the session, I'd love to hear from you:

I would like to acknowledge that I am working on stolen land. I acknowledge the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and journey. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging as well as to all First Nations’ communities who significantly contribute to the life of the area.
