Move in the Mystery ~ Latihan Nosara

Join us for Latihan ~ a blindfolded movement meditation in which you are invited to:

✨ Embrace the mystery that is life

✨ Release attachment, aversion, + agenda

✨ Let go of DOING in exchange for BEING

✨ S l o w d o w n + practice presence

✨ Explore touch + learn to attune to others without the use of sight

✨ Find, recognize + communicate your boundaries

✨ Express your emotions

✨ Feel playful, sensual, embodied + free

✨ Use ALL experiences (including triggers + uncomfortable moments) as material for expansion + self empowerment 

This is a deep and profound practice with the potential to transform how you approach daily life, how you connect with yourself and others, and how you meet the wild mystery unfolding before you.

While contact is not the point of Latihan, this experience can and does involve touch while blindfolded. Part of the exploration of Latihan is finding your YES and your NO, and taking full responsibility for communicating your boundaries at all times. Please know that this is an advanced level practice.

What to bring: 

• Clothes you can move in (like what you would wear to a yoga or dance class)
• Knee pads (not a necessity but can be nice)
• A hair tie or scrunchie if you have long hair
• A water bottle
• Blindfolds will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer

Flow of the evening:

6:15 to 6:30 ~ Doors open. Arrive and mingle. Ground in with movement to help get you out of your head and in to your body

6:45 ~ Doors lock. Introduction and explanation of Latihan 

7:00 ~ Begin Latihan

8:15 ~ Sharing circle and closing

8:30 ~ We close for the evening ✨

The practice of Latihan welcomes you to drop into exquisite presence, release preconceptions of who you are, explore the depths of the unknown, and be moved by something greater. Come with curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to dive into this unique and powerful experience.
