What to expect
The evening is an exploration of what we'd like to leave in winter, and bring into the next part of the cycle, spring!
We will explore this through yoga, yoga nidra + intention setting
We will start with some prompts to explore what our Winter meant to us individually, what we can leave behind and what wisdom we can bring forward. We will create our own intentions for moving forward into Spring.
Through a yoga practice we will be embodying the release of Winter and emerging into our Spring intentions through a slow yoga flow, with some warming yang elements, and ending with yin yoga.
This will be followed by a guided yoga nidra (a deep yogic rest where we can visit our subconscious, find a deep calm and consolidate intentions).
Arising from our yoga nidra we will then have time to integrate by journaling or simply remaining on the mat x
A few things
Wear your comfy clothes.
The yoga will be a slow style, a little bit heating at times (but not sweaty and no cardio type movement) & then a yin style (holding one restorative shape for 4 - 6 minutes)
Bring a pen and a journal. Don't stress if you forget - I will provide spares
There will be hot tea
No need to bring a mat - mats, bolsters, and blankets are all provided
