A family friendly movie night! Join us to eat a nourishing bowl of soup and watch a short, family friendly documentary 'Lady Lash'. Directed and Produced by Rochelle ‘Rocky’ Humphrey. Co produced by Crystal Clyne (aka Lady Lash).Â
This film celebrates "the power of creativity against adversity aiming to dilute Australia's negative media of Aboriginal women and the lack of real representation with personal stories. This film challenges the colonial mindset that destruction of 'country' is worth the profits it generates" - Documentary Australia
This event will be held at Newlands Neighbourhood House and hosted by two local community groups;Â Newlands Parents for Climate Action and Neighbours United for Climate Action (NUCA).
