Movie Night: Night of the Living Dead

Culture Lab Movie Night Series: Night of the Living Dead

Join us on October 15 for the next screening in Culture Lab’s Movie Night Series, featuring George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead (1968).

When the dead begin to rise, a group of strangers takes refuge in a Pennsylvania farmhouse. As danger gathers outside and tensions grow within, their survival depends on more than keeping the doors locked.

A landmark in cinema history, Night of the Living Dead helped define the modern zombie movie and transformed independent horror filmmaking. The film also broke ground by casting Duane Jones as a resourceful Black protagonist at a time when leading roles for Black actors were still rare in American cinema.

Experience this influential classic on the big screen in our back theater.
