NIM'S ISLAND

The irresistible adventure created by author Wendy Orr, Nim's Island tells the story of 11-year-old Nim (Abigail Breslin), who lives on a secret island with her scientist father, Jack (Gerard Butler), and three best friends; an iguana, a sea-lion and a turtle. Nim is left alone on the island for a few days when Jack leaves on a scientific voyage to find rare algae. Imagination and reality collide when Nim's father goes missing at sea. Fate brings to her the author of the Alex Rover series, her favourite books, and together they try to find Nim's father.
