Movie Night at the Archives!
Event description
The Lesbian and Gay Liberation in Canada project is inviting you to it's hybrid Movie Night! We will be watching the movie Lesbiana: A Parallel Revolution. Host Dr Constance Crompton will lead a discussion period after the screening.
Winner of the Amsterdam Film Festival, Side by Side Film Festival Moscow, and the Toronto Film Festival, Lesbiana: A Parallel Revolution documents Myriam Fougère’s road trip through the U.S. and Canada as she revisits the activists of the '60s and '70s who sparked the lesbian revolution and ultimately defined their own culture.
