Movie Poster Design Class

Have you ever wanted to design your own movie poster? Now is your chance to transform your dream to reality, with this four-week series class, running every Monday evening, 5:30 - 7:30 pm, from July 8th to 29th, at the Engine Room. Over a month you will learn the basics of poster design, from idea to production, finishing with the professional grade printing of your final work! 

The course is led by professional sign-designer Tim Sheard, with forty years experience in graphic design and printing. You can see examples of Tim's work at his Instagram account, sheard.t

Schedule:

July 8th : Intro, rough design and layout, photography planning

July 15th : Photography or Illustration - how to use props and organize a photoshoot

July 22nd : Editing - how to use photoshop and lightroom to transform your photographs, and create your vision in artwork

July 29th : Printing - the final production of your work

The classes are £10 per class. At the end of the course, you will receive a digital download of your creation. An optional A2 print of your product is available for £30 to cover materials.
