For one long lunch, Public Square at Melbourne Quarter becomes a place to pause, play and reconnect. Gather your people, choose your spot, and settle in. With more than 10 generous picnic packs from Melbourne Quarter retailers, try a favourite or discover something new.

For just $10*, lunch is sorted. The first 100 guests to purchase receive a complimentary SIP COCO coconut water in the flavour of their choice. The rest is up to you.

Feel the warmth of the afternoon as a DJ soundtracks your lunch. Share a laugh over a garden game with friends and linger a little longer.

Come hungry. Leave lighter. Because sometimes all you need is good food, good people, sunshine—and a reason to exhale.

    Yes, five picnic pack options cater for vegetarians.

  • Can I purchase my picnic pack on the day?

    Yes, however we encourage booking your picnic pack in advance to secure your preferred choice and help us prepare the right quantities for everyone.

  • What SIP COCO coconut water flavors are available to the first 100 customers?

    SIP COCO offers pure, plant-based coconut water in seven refreshing flavors: natural, chocolate, pineapple, passionfruit, lychee, watermelon and ginger. Made from real, natural ingredients with no added sugar and never from concentrate, each can contains five essential electrolytes - sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorus for natural hydration.

  • How do I redeem my picnic pack on the day?

    Check your confirmation email from order@humanitix.com (including spam/junk folders) and present the QR code on your digital ticket, either from your email, web browser, or saved to your phone wallet at the redemption point in Public Square. The event team will scan your code to check you in and provide your picnic pack.

  • Can I change my picnic pack selection after booking?

    Unfortunately, picnic pack selections cannot be changed once your booking is confirmed, as we prepare quantities based on advance orders. We encourage you to choose carefully when selecting your pack. With over 10 delicious options available, there's something for everyone!

  • What time does the event start and finish?

    The event runs from 12pm to 2pm in Public Square on Thursday 8 October at Melbourne Quarter. Enjoy a live DJ soundtrack and games with your friends throughout the afternoon as you relax with your picnic pack.

  • Is the event weather dependent, and what happens if it rains?

    The event will go ahead rain or shine. In the event of poor weather, collect your picnic pack from the undercover area next to Melbourne Quarter Tower and enjoy your meal in Quarter Hall, where you'll find comfortable seating and sheltered from the elements.
