MQ Incubator & Young Wisdom Teacher Bootcamp

Our first Educators Bootcamp (Elective PL Course on Design Thinking)

In thought-provoking discussions and workshops, educators will gain an understanding of the skills, people, and resources leveraged by innovators and entrepreneurs to effect positive, sustainable change in their contexts.

We will specifically apply design thinking methodologies, tools and activities to topics of your choice spanning your own school environment and/or professional practice.

You may walk away with a new actionable initiative within your school or classroom in 2026, or (at the very least) have the tools to leverage design thinking to repeat the process within your own team or faculty in your own time.

If you have been to one of our multi-school student bootcamps before, you will experience all of the same activities, take all of the same risks (including rapid fire ideation, prototyping and impromptu speaking) and have all of the same fun!

Bootcamp details:
When: Friday 12 December, 9:00am to 3:00pm (followed by festive refreshments)
Where: MQ Incubator - 8 Hadenfeld Ave, Macquarie Park NSW 2113
Who for: Teachers, careers advisers, support staff and school executives

Cost: $198 sponsored by the Secondary Schools Program as a thank you for your support in 2025

Catering: Lunch will be provided as well as the post-event catering
Capacity: Min. 24, max. 36 teachers (limit of 3 staff members per school)
