MQ Incubator Student Program - Design Thinking 2022

Thanks to the MQ’s Student Representative Committee, the Design Thinking Program is back for 2022.

Are you passionate about solving real world problems? 

Join us for the 2022 Design Thinking Program where you will have the chance to work in multidisciplinary teams to solve the global waste generation issue. Explore the problem of waste and help design an alternative future whilst learning one of the most sought-after skillset. 

In this intensive one-week program you will learn:

• how social innovation can make a difference
• use empathy to solve problems in meaningful ways
• think creatively to generate new solutions
• rapid prototyping and learn from fast failures
• how to apply a full design thinking cycle for any project
• how to pitch and communicate your ideas to others

The program will be face to face from the MQ Incubator, facilitated by our Expert in Residence Melanie Lewis who is a Stanford Design School Fellow and is fully accredited by Stanford University in Design Thinking. 

You must be available from 9:30am – 5pm each day of the program and be able to attend in person at the Incubator.
