In this webinar Bianca Keys, the chair of the Mediator Standards Board will be sharing with Mediation Institute Members and other mediators her insights into what it means to be a NMAS Mediator in Australia and how this might develop in the future.
The Mediator Standards Board (MSB) was established 2010 in to oversee and maintain the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS).
The MSB works with Recognised Mediator Accreditation Bodies (RMAB's) such as Mediation Institute to maintain a minimum standard for skills and ethics for professional mediators.
In this webinar:
- Bianca will update you on the review of the National Mediator Accreditation System currently underway;
- She will provide an overview of the NMAS, it's goals and the role of the Mediator Standard Board;
We invite Mediation Institute Members who are NMAS Accredited as well as Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners and Family Group Conference Facilitators who are curious about the NMAS.

She has extensive mediation experience in commercial, workplace, franchise, healthcare & university matters.
Bianca works as a Conciliator for the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission, as a Panel Mediator for the NSW Workers Compensation Commission, NSW Small Business Commission, Australian Small Business & Family Enterprise Ombudsman, Arts Law Centre, Australian Disputes Centre, Resolution Institute Panel, a number of Australian Universities, and under the Franchising Code of Conduct.
Bianca is a CINERGY® Conflict Management Coach, providing one-on-one & organisational coaching for conflict management & resilience. She also provides processes that diagnose and address conflict within teams. Bianca has been engaged by some of Australia's largest companies and universities in this regard.
Bianca is currently Chair of the Mediator Standards Board and was a committee member of the National Mediator Accreditation Committee between 2008-2010. She has been involved in the Mediator Standards Board since first elected as a director in 2014.
