MSC Fisheries Standard: Progress in revising Version 3 (07:00 UTC)
Event description
Join the MSC’s Head of Standard Implementation, Polly Burns, to find out about the revisions proposed to ensure our Fisheries Standard is clear and delivers the intended outcomes.
Please note, this webinar is intended to support a public consultation on proposed changes to the MSC Fisheries Standard Toolbox, which contains procedures to support fishery assessments. This includes the Evidence Requirements Framework and Risk-Based Framework.
We will discuss the proposed changes to the Toolbox, how these changes were developed, and the issues we intend to resolve.
We will also introduce our plan to develop targeted revisions to key aspects of the Standard and Fisheries Certification Process, and the revised assessment timelines for fisheries.
This webinar will be repeated at 15:00 UTC. Register for that session here.
