Event description

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Online 10-week program

Do you:

  •  have an inner voice that is harsh?
  • feel a relentless push toward self-improvement?
  • wish to learn ways to build supportive relationships towards yourself, others and your life?

This resource building program may be just what you need.

Mindful Self-Compassion is an empirically supported course developed by Christopher Germer (PhD) and Kristin Neff (PhD) designed to cultivate self-compassion and mindfulness skills. MSC helps us learn to befriend all aspects of ourselves and build a warm-hearted response to our daily experience, especially during difficult times.

MSC also helps us to:

  • tap into and build our emotional strength and resilience (and lower levels of anxiety and depression)
  • treat ourselves with the same kind understanding we would a good friend
  • motivate, support and encourage ourselves
  • meet difficult emotions with greater ease
  • care for ourselves whilst caring for others
  • build more satisfying personal relationships
  • live more authentically

This interactive workshop will introduce you to gentle practices designed to enhance your emotional well-being and to nurture strategies to respond wisely to life’s challenges. You will learn techniques to enrich your life as we explore mindfulness and self compassion. You will also develop the tools of resilience through exercises that can boost inner calm and strength.

We will discuss how to support difficult emotions with care, and discover how translating feelings into effective needs-base communication creates connection and nourishes relationships.

Together, these simple practices can help you improve your life experience, so that you can bring greater joy, peace and happiness, not only to yourself, but to others as well.

Testimonials from the recent online MSC

"This format and how it has been managed is probably the best I have experienced. I liked the on-line format, which has surprised me, human interactions were positive even though we were in a virtual platform. We were all in 'attendance'- and had opportunity to use 'chat' or to unmute and share verbally. "

"Both Bronwyn and Emma are high skilled and knowledgeable facilitators. They were engaging, kind, giving of self and very adept at explaining MSC concepts& practices. I found them to be welcoming, supportive and open. "
