Much Ado About Nothing

Event description

Join us for an early 1970's themed frolic of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Pull out your tie dye, jeans, bell bottoms and miniskirts and join into the vibe, while following the actors in an outdoor setting from scene to scene on the grounds of Studio 609 in rural Guilford County.

Two brothers and their friends, newly returned from the war, are ready for parties, romantic entanglements and intrigue in the world of Duchess Leonata's estate, her joyfully self-professed liberated niece and lovely daughter.  Mix in a bit of music of the time period for a true adventure as Shakespeare meets the counterculture of this retro generation.

Please wear comfortable shows and bring a lawn chair or towel for sitting as you travel from scene to scene.
