Mudgee ABA Cuppa, Chat & Play Tues 22nd September 10am - Starting Solids

Come and join us for morning tea, a chat and a play! Our discussion today is all about little ones and food! We will talk about Starting Solids (while taking care of ourselves, too!) This is a FREE session.

Parking is easy in the church carpark, you can come in via the tearoom door (to the rear of the carpark- we will have to let you in) or via the garden gate (to the left of the building, has a child safe latch).

Morning tea will be provided. If you are having a fabulous morning and would like to bring a packet or plate to share, that is lovely, however if that's not how your morning is going, then just bring yourself and your little ones, there's always plenty to go around. 

Parents, children of all ages, and support people are welcome to this free session, regardless if you are breastfeeding, formula feeding, or weaned already. There are plenty of toys in our indoor and outdoor area to keep your children busy while you enjoy your cuppa- we will have the 'play kitchen' toys out today (why do kids sometimes seem so much more excited about wooden and fabric food than the food we've lovingly shopped for and prepared????). We do recommend little ones bring shoes (there are 'bindi's in the play area grass) and hats and sunscreen! While the little ones enjoy playing, we will have a chat about how to support toddlers and preschoolers who might be a bit fussy at mealtimes! Bring along your questions and concerns, tips and tricks and recipes.

An ABA Breastfeeding Counsellor will be present and you're welcome to ask any breastfeeding and baby related questions you might have. All your breastfeeding and baby queries are welcome regardless of the topic- positioning and attachment, breast and nipple care, weaning/night weaning, mixed feeding, starting solids, expressing and storing breastmilk, etc. If you would like to chat separately to a breastfeeding counsellor about a concern, please message 0412159591 to arrange a catch up prior to the 10am session (it's also fine to ask questions 10am-12pm during our gathering or ask the breastfeeding counsellor to observe and support with a feed then).
