Mudgee ABA EARLY DAZE - Thurs 21st August 9:30 am - Furbabies and New Babies
Event description
ABA EARLY DAZE is is a free catch-up especially for expecting parents, those with newborns and young babies up to around 9 months, and their support people. Come and join us for a cuppa, chat about the topic of the day and get to know other families while the little ones play. Everyone is welcome- you don't need to be breastfeeding to come along.
Our GUEST SPEAKER Sheree will be joining us this morning to chat about adding a new baby to our family when we have a furbaby (or vice versa!) Sheree is a qualified and experienced dog trainer. Bring along all your questions about how to help the babies with fur and the babies with skin to get along safely and well!
Meet up with other mums and bubs, and take the opportunity to ask any breastfeeding and baby related questions you may have - an ABA breastfeeding counsellor will be present at the venue till midday. All queries are welcome regardless of the topic- positioning and attachment, breast and nipple care, mixed feeding, sleep, naps and night times, starting solids expressing and storing breastmilk, etc.
Morning tea will be provided. If you are having a fabulous morning and would like to bring a packet or plate to share, that is lovely, however if that's not how your morning is going, then just bring yourself and your little ones, there's always plenty to go around.
Our all ages PlAyBA cuppa, chat and playtime follows at 10:30 am and you're welcome to stay if you would like- Sheree will be there talking about Toddlers and Furbabies.
The Mudgee Uniting Community Garden and Uniting Church Hall is a family friendly space. You're welcome to park for our session in the church carpark. We should be just inside the glass doors. If you can't catch anyone's attention at the glass doors (to the left of the actual church building at the back of the carpark), please enter via the garden gate to the left of the tearoom- we keep the glass doors latched to keep toddlers inside, however the gate has a childsafe latch and you will be able to let yourself in!
Bookings are appreciated and help us get in touch with you quickly if there is a last minute change of plan, however you're welcome to turn up on the day if you haven't booked. If you or your little ones aren't well, please stay home and get well this time and we'll see you next week!
