Event description

Since 1994, the Mukume Taiko Drummers have brought the rhythm of Japanese drumming to the Wellington Region. To celebrate the team’s 30th anniversary, we are holding a special concert called Heartbeat this October. The show will feature traditional pieces the team has played for 30 years, as well as contemporary compositions shared with us by taiko experts from Japan and around the world. The show will also feature a special guest performance by VicUke, the Victoria University of Wellington ukulele club.

Come celebrate 30 years of Mukume Taiko with us on Sunday 6th of October at 1:30pm
