Let’s spread the Voice in your language!

In partnership with a range of organisations, Life Without Barriers and Polaron Language Services have launched more than 45 multilingual translations with information about the referendum and the Voice to Parliament. You are invited to an online community town hall session to learn more about the upcoming Referendum and learn about the resources you can use.

The community resources address the language barriers that some multicultural community members may encounter during the upcoming referendum.

You can find multicultural assets, including; social media toolkitsvideos, and translated information catering to over 45 languages, ready to be shared. Translations span from لعربية to Tiếng Việt and 简体中文 to Italiano.

Together with special guests Thomas Mayo, Shireen Morris, Maria Dimopoulos and Eva Hussain, we will talk about what constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples through a Voice to Parliament means and why it is a crucial step on the path to creating a better future. Jade Appo-Ritchie, advocate and spokesperson for the Yes campaign, will MC the event.

We will also highlight the importance of voting in the Referendum for multicultural communities and share useful resources, including translated information materials about the Referendum.

As a guest, you can ask questions, share your feedback and learn ways to engage in your local communities.
