Multiple Exposures with Hand-Painted Masks
Description
Something a little different is coming…
Back by popular demand, this unique hands-on workshop invites you to explore photography from an unexpected perspective—where paint, shape, light and photography collide to create images that are entirely your own.
Mel’s Multiple Exposures with Hand-Painted Masks workshop first appeared at the 2024 Photographic Society of Queensland Convention, where both workshops sold out. Now it’s making a very limited return for one workshop only.
You’ll experiment, play and discover how seemingly simple marks and shapes can transform the way you see and create an image, and then test the technique on numerous still-life setups around the room. No specialist camera or complicated equipment is required—participants will use their mobile devices and the Snapseed app to create and shoot their work.
Come curious. Leave with something unexpected.
Limited places available. One opportunity only. Don’t miss it.
This project has been supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Ipswich City Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
