Mum & Daughter Zine Sesh


Event description

Start off the busy and stressful Term 4 with some healthy and fun bonding time with your daughter.

Yoga and Zine making for Mums (or another female figure in their life) and Daughters brings together a bite-sized look at what we do in Teen Yoga, this is a chance to slow down, get creative, and support yourself through movement, healthy discussion and art. 

In the 90 minutes we spend together we will start to make a small zine (a homemade magazine) about how we can support ourselves with things such as setting boundaries, creating better habits, communication, decision making and mindset. This is really about understanding where we are at right now and figuring out what will work best for us going forward. 

In addition to this, we will explore how yoga and breathing can support us, how having a creative practice is important for wellness, and why connecting with your daughter on this human level is so necessary for her own self esteem. 


Our aim of this workshop is for you and your daughter to leave:

  • Lighter, in body and mind
  • Better connected
  • More confident in your actions
  • With a deeper understanding of each other
