MUM-azing Race

Ever wanted to take part in the Amazing Race? Well now you can.

In conjunction with our incredible sponsors Sunfox Active & Inspire Athletic, we are hosting our very own Social Mums Club MUM-azing Race here on the Wynnum/Manly Esplanade.

There is a $25 charge for this event. All proceeds will go to the Forgotten Women Charity to help women over 55 in Brisbane who are homeless get back into safe and suitable housing.

You don't need to come with friends (unless you want to). Feel free to come by yourself and we'll pop you into a team with other awesome ladies.

I understand that by registering for this event, I am aware that there may be photos taken of attendees. It is my responsibility to exclude myself from any images taken if I don’t want my image to be used for the purposes of display, publicity and in promotional materials by Social Mums Club. This includes print and online platforms including newsletters, social media and websites.

Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…

- We tend to keep our events small - so you don't have to walk into a big group

- We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group

- Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone

- You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.

- We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.
