Event description

Join Parrot & Pea for a special Mums & Bubs pottery workshop. Make a trinket dish for yourself & a keepsake of bubs hand/foot print. 

Location: Karkoo Nursery, Oakbank. 

LIMITED SPOTS!

$100 per person.

Suitable for babies, however, all aged children are welcome. One ticket= x1 parent and x1 child only.

In this workshop you will spend 1.5 hours crafting your own trinket dish and hand/foot print keepsake. By the end of the workshop you will have created x2 pieces. Your pieces will then be taken away to be fired, and finished with a clear glaze.

Finished pieces will be available for collection approx.4-6 weeks later after they've been fired from the venue. Please only book this class if you are able to collect your pieces afterwards.

Please note, that your child is your full responsibility during this workshop. We understand that children are busy, so please tend to their needs throughout the workshop as required. Please feel free to breastfeed/feed your bubs and whatever else you both may need flexibly throughout the morning.

All materials and firing provided but please bring along an apron or towel. Please provide a drink/snacks and anything else your child may need.

Price: $100 + booking fee

Duration: 1.5 hours.

When: Sunday 20th July 2024, 10-11.30am.

By purchasing a ticket to this event, you acknowledge and take full responsibility for your own pottery piece and use your finished pieces at your own discretion.

About the teacher:

Morgyn, the creator of Parrot and Pea Ceramics, has been creating and selling handmade functional ceramics in Adelaide for a few years now and is excited to share the therapeutic art that is clay and hand-building with the community!
