Mums & Daughters Pottery

Come along this school holidays for some special Mummy & daughter time.
We will have snacks & tea.. playdate essentials.

My daughter is forever telling me she wants Mummy time & always asking when ever we're going if there will be 'just girls' there.

So I'm creating this event for her, and for you, and for your daughter.

I will provide the clay & underglaze so we can paint our designs, all you need to bring along is some creativity and an openness to learn! If you have any fun stamps or perhaps some seed pods etc with fun textures feel free to bring them along! The only limit is your imagination!

Work can be fired for an extra cost of $10 per family that can be paid on the day. As I fire at a community kiln there may be some pieces that aren't able to be fired.. basically because they can potentially explode and destroy everyone else's work and we don't want that.

I am going to leave the age open to your judgement. My daughter is almost 4 but I'd say it's more likely to have something that is fireable from ages 7+ when they are a little more attentive to instruction and detail.. but again all kids are different so I'll let you decide. If you spend 3 hours playing with your daughter and having fun with clay I think that's the most important thing and you can always come along to an adults class that I run for some Mumma time & to make your own special cup to be fired!
