Event description

Murals for Change X Little Earthlings

Now, more than ever, we should be prioritising and nurturing our mental health. In uncertain times, looking after your mind is as important as looking after your physical self.

Together with artist and mental health advocate, Little Earthling, join the Murals for Change community to learn helpful mental health practices and why art therapy is such a powerful tool for mental wellbeing and positivity. It shouldn't take a crisis to practice any of these tips – the habits we initiate now can support us throughout our lives. Together we're working together to empower, uplift, educate and inspire our community!

The workshop will be a gently journey of self-discovery, conversation, channelling the knowledge, wisdom and experiences of Montana and Little Earthling as we explore using Art as a form of healing, expression, exploration and hope.

If you're looking for a positive end to the week and insightful discussion to help shift (& hopefully uplift) your mindset and learn more about how to look after your mental health.

More about Art Therapy:
Art therapy is a technique rooted in the idea that creative expression can foster healing and mental well-being. Art, either creating it or viewing others' art, is used to help people explore emotions, develop self-awareness, cope with stress, boost self-esteem, and work on social skills. Art therapy and ARTivism are the foundations of MFC – we are so excited to be exploring it in further depth each month!

More about donations:
MFC is run solely from a passionate team of volunteers. We strongly believe in diversity & that empowerment is a right for EVERYBODY. We know times have been tough, but your donations make these events possible. Please, give what you can afford and we will be sure to pay it forward.
