Actress of the Year: An Old Hollywood Murder Mystery Dinner
Join us for an immersive murder mystery dinner at the historic Dayton House, inspired by the glamour of 1950s Old Hollywood.
Tonight is Hollywood’s biggest awards dinner, where stars, socialites, and industry insiders have gathered to celebrate the coveted Actress of the Year award. But behind all the glamour are secrets, rivalries, and motives, and before the night is over, a murder will turn the celebration into a mystery.
Guests won’t just watch the story unfold. Each guest will be assigned a character to play throughout the evening, with their own story, secrets, and clues. You’ll mingle with other characters, ask questions, uncover motives, and piece together what really happened. At the end of the night, everyone will make their final accusation:

While the mystery unfolds, enjoy a fine dining experience prepared by Chef Phoenix, with your choice of entrée:
Beef Wellington
Beef tenderloin, mushroom duxelles, prosciutto, puff pastry, and red-wine demi-glace.
Herb-Crusted Chicken
Herb-crusted chicken served with a creamy Dijon sauce.
Wild Mushroom & Butternut Squash Wellington
A vegetarian Wellington filled with mushrooms, butternut squash, caramelized onion, spinach, and herbs.
Entrées will be served with potato purée and seasonal vegetables.
Dress Code: 1950s Old Hollywood Glamour
We highly encourage you to dress for the theme, but no one will be turned away for not dressing in 1950s attire.
Come glamorous, come rich, come fashionable—or simply come as you are and ready to have a good time.
Think gowns, fur, pearls, gloves, vintage-inspired dresses, sharp suits, tuxedos, and classic Old Hollywood glamour.
Come ready to dine, play your part, uncover secrets, and solve the mystery. Just remember—not everyone is who they seem.
This is an adults-only event for guests ages 21 and older. A valid photo ID may be required.
Lineup
5:00 PM — Doors Open & Cocktail Hour
Arrive at the historic Dayton House, check in, meet your fellow guests, and enjoy beer or wine available for purchase at the bar.
5:15 PM — Guests Seated & Dinner Begins
Take your seat and enjoy your fine-dining experience as the evening begins.
5:45 PM — The Mystery Begins
We’ll gather everyone together, introduce the details of the evening, and set the stage for the mystery. From here, trust no one!
6:00–7:30 PM — Investigate, Mingle & Solve the Mystery
Step into character, interact with other guests, uncover secrets and clues, and piece together what really happened.
7:30 PM — Final Accusations
It’s time to make your accusation. Who did it—and why?
7:45 PM — The Killer Is Revealed
The truth comes out! We’ll reveal the killer and uncover the story behind the crime.
8:00 PM — Polaroids & Farewell 📸
End the evening with a little Old Hollywood glamour! We’ll have a Polaroid camera available to capture photos of you and your fellow characters—a fun keepsake from a night of mystery, glamour, and intrigue.
