MUSE Festival 2025
Event description
Experience a free program of new works by the next generation of performing artists!
Formerly known as Discord 879, MUSE is a revival of what began in 2019, and is VCA's first ever student-led performing arts festival. Presented over three days between semesters, it is an entirely student-organised takeover of Building 879, that revels in the oft-unorganised methods of our student cohort, and is an opportunity for involved artists to experience a festival season in a low-stakes and supportive environment.

Festival Content and Access
Accessibility is a priority at MUSE. Spanning three floors, all performance venues are wheelchair accessible, connected by a central elevator and stairwell. Restrooms, including accessible options, are available on each floor of the building. Assistance animals are warmly welcomed throughout the venue.

In order to account for drop-off in attendance, we overbook a select number of free events at the Faculty. If you have not arrived by the start of the performance, your ticket may be released to any waiting patrons at the door. Please arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the performance to secure your seat.
Admission to any of our concerts and events is strictly at the discretion of Front of House. We have zero tolerance for any disrespectful behaviour.
