Our knowledgeable speakers, Emma and Zack of Maidenhair Mushrooms, will guide you through the fascinating world of mushroom foraging. Learn about the different types of mushrooms found locally, the best practices for safe and sustainable foraging, and the intriguing stories behind these forest treasures.

You’ll enjoy a series of mushroom dishes prepared by The Park Inn and expertly crafted to highlight the unique textures and tastes of our region's finest fungi. Each dish will feature a curated wine pairing from Point of the Bluff.

This event will take place in our Pavilion overlooking Keuka Lake. Space is limited. Reserve your spot today.

About your speakers:

Emma and Zack are co-founders of Maidenhair Mushrooms. Emma studied Mycology at ESF, and uses the lens of fungi to restore native ecosystems. She spends every day in the woods, stewarding over 4000 acres of protected land across the Finger Lakes Region. Zack fell in love with fungi as a chef in a commercial kitchen, after being exposed to the wonderful world of wild foods. He is now an expert mushroom cultivator and hobby forest farmer. Together, they have over a decade of foraging experience, and are passionate about teaching these skills to others to build a more resilient community.
