Mushroom Foraging tour

Spend a morning learning to forage mushrooms safely and knowing more about the amazing world of fungi. 

Explore helpful resources to help you be certain about your mushroom identification skills.

You'll have an endless supply of mushroom books, articles and art to inspire you in your mycological journey. We will have mushroom tinctures, mushroom extracts and mushroom fruits in dry and fresh form to offer you. 

Children 8 years or older filled with curiosity are more than welcome to attend.

The morning Includes: 

• Information on Foraging safely
• Collection of diverse specimens for taking a collective artistic picture
• Identification of each find
• Foraging purposefully for edible varieties 
• Cooking and tasting picnic 

Consider bringing: 

• Hiking warm clothes 
• Boots for walking through thick scrub
• Light chairs to carry while walking
• Umbrella and raincoats
• Walking sticks
• Small Swiss knife or similar
• Basket for your finds
