Event description

Grow the Future is offering a series of hands-on workshops for 12-24 year olds in the winter school holidays.

Dive into the magical world of mushrooms with local fungi wizards Josh Whitworth is the owner of Collective Cultures

Learn about the lives of mushrooms, and the different ways that we can grow them yourselves. Get hands-on and grow your own oyster mushrooms, see how they can be grown using re-usable buckets and work as a team to help establish an outdoor garden for Wine Cap Mushrooms.

We’re looking forward to creating a space where 12-24 year olds can come and learn something new, and meet others and make connections in the process.

We aim to make all our offerings accessible, inclusive and supportive for all young people, so please DM us if you have any questions, or would like to know more about these workshops.
