Hello, I’m Bianca, The Singing Yogi, studio owner of Heart & Soul Yoga, Yoga instructor, Professional Working Singer and Musician who gigs weekly, and I am here to support you and help you on your journey to discover the power of your voice and the healing benefits of Sound. I have released two albums in recent years, as The Singing Yogi (available on all platforms) and have been a vocal coach and singing teacher for over 30 years. I hold a Double Degree from UNSW in both Music and Education and have completed all AMEB exams in Classical Singing. I am an approved Vocal tutor of UNSW and am Accredited in Voice and Music Education by the MMTA. In my years as a musician I have played guitar, piano, trumpet, clarinet and handbells.These days, I sing professionally, continue to play piano, guitar and harmonium as well as various tuned and untuned percussion instruments. Music and Yoga are my life.I will guide and support you in discovering your own musical identity.

We will: Gain confidence in ourselves, by using various instruments, by understanding how to use our voice during class, by learning mantras and will trust our ability to hold space.
We will: Learn about Crystal Singing Bowls, how to play and use them, their notes and relevance to chakras. Learn about which notes sound better than others. Discover Various instruments which can be used in classes and Sound Baths. Learn about Mantra.
Learn some popular Mantras. Where we might use chanting in class. Activate our voices, so we can use them better in class and learn about vocal health. Learn about vocal toning and how to do it.Go over some Basic music theory and the basics of the Harmonium. How to facilitate a sound bath or meditation. Discuss the Ethics of sound healing and Learn about the benefits of sound and how it heals.
BYO any instruments you may like to use, a yoga mat, water, notebook and pen.
