MUSIC: Bush Dance featuring The Paverty Bush Band - Turn Back Time at Lanyon Homestead

Party like it's 1899 with Canberra's legendary Paverty Bush Band in Lanyon's central courtyard. Enjoy traditional folk toe tappers under the stars, and get swept away in the joy of classic bush dance numbers! Never bush danced before? No problem, the Paverty Bush Band are expert dance callers that will have you heel and toe-ing in no time. Also, the Historic Dance Delights crew will be in attendance in full 19th century garb and demonstrating authentic dance routines from the 19th century.

Traditional games will also be available when your dancing feet need a break.

Drinks and snacks at bar prices, including Lanyon's very own gin, featuring botanicals grown in the heritage garden and delicious old-fashioned pumpkin soup made with pumpkins from the Lanyon garden!
