What if we unleashed the power of music, to conquer hearts and minds?
And inspired millions to defend the fragile ecosystems that sustain all life on earth?

An 2 hour lunchtime session (by invitation) for professional artists.
Hosted by Environmental Music Prize, Green Music Australia and FEAT (Future Energy Artists) & Solar Slice.

OBJECTIVES 

  • Equip artists to feel like they can be really strong advocates for the environment and climate related issues. 
  • Enable artists to develop their personal message. 
  • Provide clear information that is strategic and co-ordinated and that supports the broad goals of the environmental movement, rather than a particular campaign.

    - Social movement theory.
    - Why it's important to get people to understand environmental issues.
    - Climate Movement Map.

    - Lisa Mitchell : Supporting Stop Adani protesters on the frontlines.
     
  • Climate Science 101
    - Quick overview of latest stats and key takeaways.
    - Snapshot of the big campaigns and where there is positive movement and challenges.

    - Heidi Lenffer : How artists came together to innovate and fund FEAT solar farms.
    - Oli Leimbach : Why Lime Cordiale is collaborating on Solar Slice.
