Music Fest, hosted across various venues in Brisbane, Queensland, is a celebration of excellence in performance and education. Since 2020, it has been owned by the Brass Music Specialists, providing a platform for Primary and Secondary students to showcase their talents in a supportive concert environment.
Professionally adjudicated by Queensland and interstate adjudicators, Music Fest offers a relaxed grading system that allows students to perform with confidence. Structured, appropriately set music scores provide a challenging yet rewarding experience for all participants.
Peer learning across school environments adds a fun element to honing students’ skills, while small achievement incentives throughout the Festival help students measure their progress each year.
Music Fest is more than just a competition; it is an opportunity for students to engage in fine music-making in a fun, educational, and joyful performance environment.
