Music Fest 2026 - Primary/Middle Sessions

Music Fest is a festival that celebrates the musical achievements of primary, middle, and high school students. As a travelling event, Music Fest is hosted at a variety of venues across Queensland, bringing together school communities from throughout the state.

We proudly welcome students from both public and private schools and invite highly experienced adjudicators from across Queensland, interstate and, internationally. In addition to receiving detailed written feedback, students also participate in an on-stage workshop following their performance, providing valuable guidance and encouragement to support their musical development.

Our grading system is based on a clear set of assessment criteria, allowing students and teachers to perform with confidence and clarity. Each section features a set repertoire that offers a challenging yet rewarding experience, ensuring performances are assessed fairly and consistently while encouraging musical growth and excellence.
