Amit Benita
Amit Benita is a musician, songwriter, and facilitator working at the intersection of rhythm, voice, and musical expression. His approach to music is grounded in listening to rhythm, the body, and what wants to emerge, rather than forcing outcomes or perfection. Amit has worked across cultures and musical traditions, and his work with Music-Flows is rooted in the belief that music is a natural human language that is accessible to everyone. In this retreat, Amit supports participants in reconnecting with rhythm, voice, and your songwriting, creating a space where expression can arise honestly and without pressure.
The Experience
Music Flows Songwriting Retreat is built around one promise: you leave with a song that is entirely your own, a recording made with your group, and the tools to join any jam. Over five full days you will work with rhythm, voice, melody, songwriting and improvisation in a grounded, supportive environment, moving through the creative process again and again.
Voice & Rhythm
Every day at the retreat we will meet and explore our voices, connect with the rhythm of our body, with a supportive routine of exercises and expansive workshops.
Solo Creation Time
During the day we will take solo times to enter our creative bubble, while guided and supported 1 on 1 with Natan and Amit that will be there to encourage you during your creative process.
Gentle Guidance
Wherever you are in your musical journey, Amit and Natan will support you on the path of discovering and deepening into your musicality and expression in a sustainable way.
Group Sharing
In the retreat you will have an opportunity to share your creation in a supportive space, while learning from others and being empowered. It’s optional but very recommended.
Evening Rituals
In the evenings we will gather around the fire with cacao, share music, enjoy a guided jam session and learn how to join others without fear, and have a chance to integrate what we learned in real life.
Songwriting & Production
We will learn different approaches to songwriting, with examples from Natan’s and Amit’s songs, and experiment with methods that ignite your inspiration. Together we will also take one of the group’s songs and build a live demo, layering guitars, bass and voices, so you can keep recording your music long after the retreat.
Who Is This For
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced musician, we’ll find the right spot for you. Every practice can be deepened or simplified to meet you exactly where you are, so newer players feel supported and seasoned musicians stay challenged. The more experienced often step into group-leader roles and go deeper into the production side.
Complete beginners, no experience needed, we start right where you are
Experienced musicians, every practice scales up to keep you challenged
Natural leaders who step into group-leader roles during the week
Anyone drawn to go deeper into songwriting and production
