Making Music in Nature: A Joyful Morning of Sound and Play

Join us for an engaging and interactive music workshop surrounded by the beauty of nature!

Sisters and string specialists, Eunice and Willow bring a wonderful assortment of instruments to delight the senses; Violin, viola, cello, ukulele, guitar, lap harp, glockenspiels, drums, rain makers, frog croakers, you name it! Making connections between music and nature grows our love and respect for wildlife and the environment around us. Make your own gumnut shakers, play with the puppets, and sing lots of songs! Hugely interactive and highly engaging. Aimed at ages 4-10.

Price:

• $15 per child (adults must accompany children, tickets required)
• $7.50 per adult
• $50 per family (2 adults and up to 3 children)
• Concession tickets available (for concession card holders and other eligible categories)

What to bring:

• Water bottle
• Wear closed-in shoes
• Wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities
• Hat and sunscreen

About the Presenters:

Come and enjoy a joyful morning of making music with sisters Eunice Hicks and Willow Verbaan. Eunice is a mother, music teacher and author of recently published Numbat Child, a delightful Australian animal songbook. Willow is an accomplished musician and Kirtan singer and her voice features in a few of the Numbat Child songs.
