Music Medicine ☼ Sacred Song and Kirtan Gatherings
Event description
Join us every Wednesday Night at The Bush House for sacred heart songs and kirtan.
***********************************************************************************************
True music is medicine for the soul, and the intention of these gatherings is to come together and sing for the healing of ourselves and for our planet, and to connect with our deeper essence of Being.
Kirtan is the ancient practice of singing Mantras, a practice that comes from India, where Yogi's and meditators have used mantras for thousands of years to elevate their consciousness and open their hearts to the Divine.
Mantras are sound vibrations that change our consciousness and lift our spirit as we listen and repeat them. As we tune into these loving sounds, we begin feel calmer in our minds, and full in our hearts. These gatherings are a combination of singing mantras and songs that have been written with the intention to guide us into this space of Love.
This is a space for all to express their own unique voice no matter how much singing you've done in your life. All voices are deeply appreciated and heard in these gatherings. As you sing along with your heart, you allow those around you to also sing and open up to the music medicine.
Come, dance, clap your hands and sing these songs and sounds of love with us. Jay Ma, Sita Ram
