This workshop will be run by vocalist and songwriter Alice Skye, and electronic music producer and sound artist E Fishpool

This free workshop will take beginners through the basics of songwriting, music production and recording using live instruments and Ableton Live software. They will walk you through the process of producing and recording your own music. No experience required. 

These workshops focus on the social and collaborative aspect of music-making and are not skills-focused production tutorials. We're inviting folks to come and explore music production, ask questions and get their hands on some equipment in a social and relaxed learning environment.

Sound School & Ecstatic Mob are teaming up to host a series of free Audio and Visual workshop programs, sharing skills in music production, recording, DJing, VJing, live coding, OBS broadcasting software and modular synthesis. These programs will be hosted at Footscray Community Arts. The workshop series will run weekday evenings 7pm-9pm from mid April to June, 2025.
