Our Mildura Hub will gather at the Riverfront hosted by community and inclusive music-making champion Catherine Threlfall!
Local leaders Alison McGann, Win and Roger Moser will facilitate a day of workshops for all levels of music-making experience. Our exciting program spans a range of styles and traditions: soulful harmonies, latin rhythms, folk tunes & popular songs – with arrangements to suit all instruments and voices.
With CMVic helpers on hand, we will Zoom-in leaders from across the state including Kavisha Mazzella, Jen Hawley, Dan Maceoin, Will Viran.
We are delighted to have Maylene Slater-Burns, proud Kamilaroi, Wiradjuri, Yuin, Worimi, Ngunnawal, Gugu Djungan, Nywaigi, Gangalidda and Garawa woman lead the Acknowledgement of Country and perform a song.
And, we’ll end the day joining our Musicfest hubs in Emerald and Ballan in a celebration concert, MC’d in Mildura by community music legends Lyndal and Strat and streamed right across Victoria!
It's going to be a truly statewide community music camp - we can’t wait to see you there!
