MusicNSW Social Club: Albury
Description
MusicNSW is throwing an end of year Social Club on 3 December to celebrate all the artists and industry workers in Albury and the surrounding areas.
Join us on Wiradjuri Country, at Shenanigan's Whisky Bar on Thursday 3 December to connect, chat, and meet others in your local music scene. It will also be an opportunity learn about opportunities coming up and how MusicNSW can support you.
This edition of the MusicNSW Social Club will feature a listening party and an open jam session, and will be a space for local artists to share the new music they're currently working on. If you would like to share music that you’ve released/been working on, select the ‘submission’ ticket type at the checkout and attach a link (released or unreleased via Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Dropbox etc.).
We’ll play it during the listening party portion of the night. Please ensure your music is mixed and that you are comfortable having it played in front of others. We encourage a safe space, and ask all attendees to be respectful, kind and courteous during the listening party.
Hosted by:
Kayne Mills (MusicNSW - Regional Coordinator, South West, Riverina, Murray)
Ash Wills (Shenanigan's Whisky Bar - Owner)
Catering will be provided.
For access enquiries, contact Kayne Mills at kayne@musicnsw.com.
About MusicNSW:
MusicNSW is the peak body for contemporary music in New South Wales - here for the artists, communities and music businesses that make this state's culture what it is. We exist to build a NSW music ecosystem where artists have sustainable careers, communities are connected and supported, and music culture is properly valued - with the wellbeing of artists at the heart of all we do.
MusicNSW works, creates and listens on unceded Aboriginal land across the state. We honour elders past and present and acknowledge all First Nations peoples as the original music makers, storytellers and knowledge holders. Always was, always will be.
