MusicNSW Social Club: Western Sydney #2
RSVP to attend
Vol. 2 of MusicNSW's Western Sydney Social Club is here – our series of real world meet ups for the people making the music happen.
Join MusicNSW at The Vault in Katoomba on Thursday, 3 December for a Western Sydney listening party, where you can share your demos & unreleased tracks and connect with others in the local scene. This event is built to help connect Blue Mountains musicians with the wider Western Sydney scene.
Artists are invited to submit a new release, unreleased track or demo to be played in the room, followed by a short Q&A about the song - where it came from, what stage it is at and what they are working towards next.
Ten songs will be selected for the listening session, with successful artists notified by Monday 30 November. All selected artists must attend the event in person for their song to be played and to participate in the Q&A.
The event creates a space for artists to meet each other, discover new local music, get fresh ears on work in progress and build connections across the local scene.
This will be a safe space, crafted with artists, songwriters & producers in mind and hosted by Fernando Benavides (Western Sydney Coordinator, MusicNSW) in partnership with local crew Glenview Collective GVC.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided on the night.
Spots are limited – free entry via RSVP.

MusicNSW works, creates and listens on unceded Aboriginal land across the state. We honour elders past and present and acknowledge all First Nations peoples as the original music makers, storytellers and knowledge holders. Always was, always will be.
