Event description

𝑴𝑼𝑻𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺 is reborn with the debut of 𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐘𝐑 & 𝐒𝐈𝐔 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐀 and the return of 𝐃𝐉 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃! First Mutations post rooftop-reno starting with DJs on the roof in the early hours

𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐘𝐑 & 𝐒𝐈𝐔 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐀 (WAJANG/SEXAPIL, FR) are the creators of speed dembow - a nu skool genre pitching up the dembow riddim, the anchor of dancehall and reggaeton, to 150bpm+ tempos, paired with woiii basslines and heavyweight energy. They're at the vanguard of global club music, releasing high-tempo limber AF wobbly fast dance tunes thru their label 𝐖𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐍𝐆, solo & duo productions and 𝐒𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐋 alias. Their DJ sets mirror the frenetic, rhythm-forward hybrid energy of their production, cannonballing thru dubstep, jungle, dancehall and bass workouts. Extended peak-time set from the French duo!

Crown prince 𝐃𝐉 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃 returns - one of the most skilled and unique DJs on the planet. Extended sensual hypnosis via percussion looping you thru sunset.

𝐌𝐀𝐙 jets over from Eora for her first Naarm show. She's one of the hottest rising stars from Sydney and is the host of INBRAZA RADIO, a series educating listeners on the history of Baile Funk culture, and the genre's subgenres and nuances. A disgusting CDJ technician.

While 𝐍𝐀𝐘𝐂𝐀𝐁's been a head for a minute - the writer, essayist, certified Naarm icon recently took to the decks like a moth to a flame, both solo and in b2bs with sibling @dj_pgz. Nay's penchant for percussion freakouts and raucous energy is built for the dancefloor & perfect for Mutations.

We just can't help booking 𝐆𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 again and again - we felt their tripping-techy-bassy-mutant-dancehall selections would be a dream fit for our first rooftop sesh!

𝐃𝐉 𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 is a reggaeton specialist and a pioneer, as the founder of the first female led sound system on this continent. She'll bring over 20 years of experience on the decks to the rooftop sun.

Standard Misc Sundays affair with $12 cocktails and free entry 2-4pm and @we.eatin.good.bitch cooking on the rooftop from 4pm on. LFG!
