    Event description

Bring a picnic lunch and sit down for a yarn with Uncle Noel as he talks through his inspiration for his Muttama, know as 'totem poles' by the locals.

Uncle Noel is famous for his poles in this area. There is a rich interweaving of current and past stories that Noel will share with us that create a real sense of connection and belonging to this land, as we look out across the ocean and listen to the bird cries in this stunning part of Country.

As Uncle walks us slowly through these poles, each one will bring another aspect of Jerrinja Culture to life and provide a deep reverence for their Custodianship of this special place in the Shoalhaven.

If coming along, head towards the Lighthouse on Prince Edward Avenue, Crookhaven/Culburra and meet at the carpark adjacent the picnic area. We'll meet there!
